At Modern Plaspack LLP, quality is not just a process—it is the foundation of our existence. As a leading manufacturer of critical packaging solutions, especially for the Pharmaceutical and Chemical industries, we understand that the integrity of your product relies entirely on the quality and reliability of our packaging.
Our Quality Control Policy is integrated into every phase of our operation, ensuring all products meet the highest national and international standards.
"To deliver superior, safe, and reliable plastic packaging solutions that meet and exceed stringent regulatory standards, ensuring the complete safety and integrity of our clients' products from production through final consumption."
Our quality management system is built upon continuous monitoring and rigorous adherence to specifications across three critical stages:
The quality of our finished product starts with the purity of our inputs.
Vetting of Vendors: We exclusively source high-grade, virgin plastic resins (e.g., HDPE, LDPE, PP, PET) from highly reputable, certified vendors who comply with established industry standards (Source 1.2).
Incoming Material Inspection: Every batch of raw material undergoes rigorous testing upon arrival to verify properties like Melt Flow Rate (MFR) and Moisture Content to ensure optimal processability and prevent material degradation.
Traceability: Comprehensive documentation is maintained for every raw material lot, enabling complete product traceability from the resin pellet to the final packaged bottle.
We utilize state-of-the-art manufacturing processes (Injection Molding, Blow Molding) to maintain absolute consistency and precision.
Critical Process Control (SPC): We employ Statistical Process Control (SPC) to continuously monitor critical machine parameters—including temperature, pressure, cycle time, and cooling rates—to detect deviations before they result in defects.
Hourly Sample Inspection: Trained Quality Control personnel conduct physical and visual inspections of samples taken from each machine every hour (Source 3.1). Key parameters checked include:
Dimensional Accuracy: Verifying neck finish, thread profile, and height against engineering drawings.
Weight Consistency: Maintaining specified unit weight for material efficiency and structural integrity.
Aesthetic & Finish Checks: Ensuring perfect color, clarity, and freedom from cosmetic defects (e.g., flash, weld lines, sink marks).
Defect Segregation: Any non-conforming product is immediately identified, quarantined, and separated for recycling or destruction, ensuring zero defective parts leave the facility.
Before packaging and dispatch, every product lot undergoes destructive and non-destructive testing to simulate real-world usage and stress.
Leak Testing: All containers are subjected to specialized leak tests to guarantee seal integrity, which is crucial for liquid and moisture-sensitive contents (Source 3.3).
Drop Testing: Finished products are subjected to drop tests to verify mechanical strength and ability to withstand handling and transportation stresses without rupture (Source 3.3).
Barrier Property Verification (for Coex Bottles): For specialized products like Multilayer Coex Bottles, we verify the protective barrier properties against oxygen, moisture, and light to ensure product stability (Source 1.5, 3.3).
Functionality Check: Caps, closures, and child-resistant (CRC) features are tested for ease of opening/closing and proper torque application.
We are committed to upholding regulatory compliance that is paramount for our industry focus:
Regulatory Compliance: Our processes adhere to relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements, which are essential for packaging used in the Food, Beverage, and Pharmaceutical sectors.
Clean and Hygienic Environment: Our manufacturing facilities operate under strict housekeeping and hygiene protocols to minimize the risk of contamination, especially for pharmaceutical-grade packaging (Source 3.1).
Continual Improvement: Our Quality Management System is subject to regular internal and external audits to identify areas for continuous improvement, ensuring we are always setting new benchmarks for quality and efficiency (Source 2.2).
